Producing a product efficiently is crucial for maintaining operational flow and meeting demand. Here's a comprehensive guide on navigating the production process in Tracktile, from selecting a recipe to finalizing production.

🛠️ Steps for Product Production

Step 1: Navigate to the Production Stage

• Go to the Floor page and click on the stage designated for production. For newcomers, this will typically be labeled as the ‘Production’ stage.

Step 2: Start the Production Process

• Click the Make Product button to initiate the process.

  

Step 3: Select a Recipe

• Choose the appropriate recipe from the available categories: preparation, production, or packaging.

Step 4: Configure Production Details

• On the recipe page, set up your production configurations:
  • Production date and time
  • Scale/number of repeats (increases inputs and output quantity)
  • Inputs destinations from and outputs destinations to

Step 5: Adjust Inputs (If Necessary)

• Your input materials are pre-populated based on the selected consumption strategy for each item in the catalog. If you need to manually select input codes:

  • Click the red minus icon to remove an auto-selected input.

    

  • Click Add Other to choose from other available options.

    

Step 6: Confirm Output(s) and Create

• Verify the output details, adjust the scale if necessary, and then click Create to add the new product record to your inventory.
