Before moving inventory, it’s helpful to understand the concept of stages and containers in Tracktile. These elements help organize your inventory based on its status or location within your facility.

• Stages: Different phases your inventory goes through within your operations (e.g., Receiving, Production, Shipping).
• Containers: Physical or logical units where inventory is stored at each stage (e.g., Shelves, Fridges, Holding Tanks).

📦 Steps for Moving Inventory

Step 1: Select Items to Move

• On the Floor page, locate the items you wish to move. Tick off the checkbox for each item or multiple items you're interested in moving.

Step 2: Initiate the Move

• Click the move button located at the bottom right corner of the screen to start the moving process.

Step 3: Specify the Destination

• On the Move items page, choose the destination stage by selecting Move items to.
• If you do not have a specific container, leave the Put items in option set to ‘on hand’.
• If you have specific containers, select the appropriate one from the list.
